Our Silsbee ISD Board of Trustees has joined together with many other School Boards in the State of Texas to Make Education a Priority and to let our legislators know the importance of education to our future.

As educational leaders, we have an unique opportunity that now mirrors responsibility. We can accomplish what has never been accomplished before.

Out-of-School Registration Conducted Online Only
Beginning with the October 2010 administration of the TAKS exit level tests, all registration for out-of-school examinees will be online only. TAKS examinees (including former TAAS and TEAMS examinees) must register online at http://www.TexasAssessment.com/taksoos. Registration for the October exit level tests is currently open and will remain open through 5:00 PM (CT), September 17, 2010. The TAKS exit level tests will be administered on October 19, 2010, (English language arts); October 20, 2010, (mathematics); October 21, 2010, (science); and October 22, 2010 (social studies). Contact a high school counselor for more information.

A few quick notes.....
Navigation is similar to the old site. There is a search engine under the tiger logo in the top left hand corner to assist you in navigating the site.
The site is still under construction, so please be patient as we continually add to the site. A new feature is Classrooms. You can access your student's teacher site if the teacher has one.
Family Access is similar to the previous Parent Portal and is not operational at this time. Parents will be notified when this is available.
