Kalia Ashworth led the charge, securing a first-place finish and setting a new state record in deadlift. Her dominant performance also earned her the titles of 4A DII Best Lifter and Best Heavyweight Lifter, along with a $1,000 scholarship.
This grant marks the 5th Mrs. Wiggins has received. Silsbee ISD is proud to support educators like her, who continuously seek opportunities to enhance student learning through innovative tools and experiences.
