Our District
Silsbee Independent School District is located in East Texas approximately 100 miles east of Houston and 15 miles north of Beaumont. The district enrollment is approximately 2,600 students and covers a 265 square mile area. The district property balance is a mix of business, industry, family dwellings, and farmland.
The school district is comprised of four campuses, an administration building, transportation facility, and a maintenance center. The present school facilities are the result of the community's movers and shakers who had an interest and actively supported the school...these are both past and present school board members, school employees, parents and community members.
