State and Federal Programs

State & Federal Programs monitor federal and state funding, to assure that monies are being used within the appropriate guidelines for Title I, II, IV, Perkins-V, and State Compensatory Education. This department also works with eligible campuses to provide guidance and support in parental involvement and engagement.

State and Federal Programs is responsible for holding Silsbee district-level advisory group meetings.  The District Advisory Team (DAT) for SISD provides input and feedback on programs and services for Title I schools as well as engaging in input and feedback on the district level.  The District Advisory Team is made up of staff members from each campus and people from the community and meets throughout the year to discuss and address issues affecting Silsbee ISD.
