The Silsbee Independent School District Transportation Department transports approximately 1700 students per day and travels approximately 250,000 miles per day. The district currently employs approximately 40 State Certified School Bus Drivers with excellent driving records.
The Silsbee Independent School District is comprised of approximately 264 square miles. The South and West boundaries at Village Creek, the North at Hardin-Tyler County line, and the East at the Neches River. Currently, there are 25 regular bus routes and six special need routes.
