A huge thank you goes to Karen Ford, Executive Director of Human Resources, for her ongoing dedication to expanding our designation plan. The process is complex, but as Karen will tell you, it’s completely worth it when it directly benefits our teachers.

At Silsbee ISD, we are committed to finding new ways to support and reward our incredible teachers. I want to take a moment to recognize one of our own, Mrs. Karen Ford—for her exceptional leadership and relentless pursuit of expanding opportunities through the TIA program," said Dr. Gregg Weiss, Silsbee ISD Superintendent. "Her tireless efforts reflect the very best of Silsbee ISD, and I am proud to commend her for her unwavering commitment to our staff, students, and community.

Looking ahead, the renewal of our Full Designation Plan is already on the horizon and scheduled for April 2026.
