Silsbee ISD Police Department Captain Graduates from Leadership Command College

June 21, 2024 – Captain Robert Smith of the Silsbee ISD Police Department recently graduated from the Leadership Command College – Class 98 of the Law Enforcement Management Institute of Texas (LEMIT).

The program, taught by a consortium of universities throughout Texas, equips law enforcement administrators and executives with the skills necessary to effectively manage police agencies and deliver exceptional service to their communities. Captain Smith completed three intensive 3-week modules led by top national and international law enforcement experts. The curriculum focused on leadership, professional ethics and integrity, communication, and personnel management. Additionally, the program ensures participants stay current on key issues in Criminal Justice.
