Martin signs letter of intent to continue football
The speedy running back signs with Kilgore College Rangers.
FEBRUARY 6, 2020–Speedy running back Chris Martin signed a letter of intent to continue his education and football career with Kilgore College in Kilgore, Texas in a ceremony held at Silsbee High School on Wednesday, Feb. 5.
“I wouldn’t be here without Coach Smith,” Martin said. “He always believed in me and never gave up on me.”
Martin was a three-year letterman for the Silsbee Tigers at running back and earned first-team all-district accolades on both offense and defense for the 2019 season.
In his career, he scored 40 rushing touchdowns and had 415 carries for 3,071 rushing yards.
Martin signed the letter alongside his parents, Roshunda Davis-Martin, and Chris Martin Sr.
