Sharri Diggles named Principal at Edwards-Johnson Memorial Silsbee Middle School.
Diggles spent her educational career in Beaumont ISD serving as a HS Science teacher, HS Assistant Principal and Associate Principal of Curriculum and Instruction.
“I have had the unique experience of assisting in the merger of two HS campuses where building relationships, providing teacher support, providing timely and frequent feedback and recruiting highly qualified teachers was my focus,” said Diggles
She was born and raised in Southeast Texas. She is a graduate of Clifton J. Ozen High School in Beaumont.
Her undergraduate years in college were spent at the University of Houston. She received her Bachelor’s in Science with a minor in Business Association. She earned her Master’s in Educational Technology at Lamar University in 2015.
“I am honored that Silsbee ISD has invested in me, and I am excited to return that investment ten-fold. I am looking forward to building relationships with all stakeholders, supporting and continuing to grow the campus to the next level,” said Diggles.
Diggles will take over the roll as principal fulfilling the position held by Amanda Jenkins. We wish Jenkins the best of luck at Lumberton ISD.
